Hyprcore is a native macOS app that does three things in one place:
  • Dictation. Press a global shortcut, speak, and your words land in any text field—Slack, Notion, your terminal, anywhere your cursor is.
  • Meetings. Click the floating recorder pill to capture system audio, your mic, and your screen. When you stop, you have a transcript, an AI summary, and a wiki page.
  • A knowledge base. Every meeting and every note becomes part of a searchable wiki. Ask questions across all of it from the ⌘K palette or from Claude Desktop and Cursor over MCP.

How it works

Hyprcore is local-first. Speech models run on your Mac—Whisper, Parakeet, Moonshine, and others—so audio never has to leave your machine. Cloud transcription is opt-in if you want faster turnaround on long meetings. Post-processing through LLMs (Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, Apple Intelligence, or your own Ollama instance) is optional and configurable. Hyprcore requires a Hyprcore Cloud account, even on the Free plan. Once you’re signed in, your meetings and notes are stored locally under ~/Library/Application Support/ai.hyprcore.desktop/, and you can opt into cloud sync to share across multiple Macs.
