Hyprcore requires a Hyprcore Cloud account, including the Free plan. Onboarding will not let you skip sign-in. Once you’re authenticated:
- The Free plan is unlocked: basic dictation, one local speech model, limited meeting recording.
- Cloud sync, AI summaries, MCP, team seats, and shareable links are unlocked at the plan you’re on.
- The web dashboard at app.hyprcore.ai is available with the same login.
Local-first still applies: your audio and transcripts stay on your Mac. The account is how Hyprcore knows who you are, what plan you’re on, and which devices you’ve registered.
Sign in from the desktop app
Open the workspace switcher
Click your avatar / “Sign in” button at the bottom of the sidebar.
Click Sign in with Hyprcore
Hyprcore opens your default browser at app.hyprcore.ai/auth?flow=desktop.
Complete sign-in
Sign in with email + password, or click Continue with Google. New users can sign up here too. Email signups need to verify their email before continuing.
Return to the desktop app
The browser shows a “Return to Hyprcore” button. Clicking it triggers a hyprcore:// deep link that hands the session back to the desktop app. Hyprcore detects the deep link, installs the session, and you’re signed in.
If your browser doesn’t auto-open the deep link, the page also shows a copyable URL. Paste it into the desktop sign-in screen.
If you don’t have an account yet, the same flow handles signup. From the browser auth page:
- Click Sign up.
- Enter email and password (or use Google OAuth).
- Verify your email if prompted.
- Hyprcore creates a Free account by default.
You can stay on Free, or upgrade anytime.
Sign in directly on the web
You can also use Hyprcore Cloud without the desktop app—useful for managing billing, viewing meetings shared with you, or managing a team.
Visit app.hyprcore.ai and sign in. The dashboard there shows your plan, usage, devices, and team.
Sign out
In the desktop app: Settings → Account → Sign out. Your local meetings and notes stay on disk; cloud-sync stops; entitlements revert to Free.
In the web dashboard: avatar dropdown → Sign out.
Signing out on one device doesn’t sign you out elsewhere.
Multiple accounts
Hyprcore is single-account per device. To switch accounts, sign out and sign back in. Local data from the previous account stays on disk under your user library; switching back to the old account picks it up again.
