Search

Hyprcore keeps a full-text search index over your vault so you can find any word you've said or written, no matter how many meetings you've recorded.

Search is keyword search: it matches the actual words and phrases in your content. Type what you remember hearing or writing, and Hyprcore finds where it appears.

What's searched

The index covers everything text-based in your vault:

  • Meeting transcripts. Every spoken line from every recording.

  • Notes and pages. The notes you write and the notes tab of any meeting.

  • Captures. Text pulled from URLs and files you've captured.

It all runs locally over your vault on disk. Cloud sync isn't required for search to work.

The fastest way is the command palette. Press ⌘K from anywhere, type a word or phrase, and results appear grouped by page with the matching line shown. Meetings whose transcript matches surface even when the title doesn't.

Useful for:

  • Finding a specific name, number, or technical term you remember saying.

  • Re-locating a meeting where someone mentioned a particular project.

  • Pulling every place you talked about a competitor, a customer, or a person.

Because it's keyword search, matches are exact: search authentication and you'll find the lines that contain that word, not paraphrases of the idea. Search for the concrete term you're after.

Indexing

Indexing is automatic. Hyprcore builds the index when the app starts and keeps it up to date as your vault changes — new meetings, edited notes, and fresh captures are picked up on their own. There's nothing to configure and no manual reindex step.

Note: Search is powered by a local keyword index stored in your app's cache folder. If a result looks stale right after a big edit, give the index a moment to catch up — it refreshes shortly after files change on disk.
